LiVeS Magazine is the School review of the year, produced annually and written by LVS Ascot pupils. A team of student journalists help Editor Mrs Sue Bastone to report on events, trips, activities throughout the year and we use student photographers to illustrate the stories. We have also included artwork, creative writing and poetry produced by the students.
The magazine is published during the first half of the Autumn Term and is fondly kept by our students as an account of the last academic year. Parents should receive their copy by the October half term.
LiVeS Magazine features School and House News, Curriculum Highlights, Arts Review, Sports Round-Up as well as the Student Showcase for outstanding work and special Features from the school year.
For further information please contact Mrs. Sue Bastone – firstname.lastname@example.org.
LiVeS Radio is our student run radio station, delivering an on-demand service through the School’s virtual learning environment - https://senior.lvs.org.uk/course/view.php?id=73
The radio is a showcase for some of the activities that take place in LVS Ascot, a mixture of performances, interviews and shows put together by the pupils. In particular they record events such as the House Music competition, the Musical Tour of Belgium and are happy to listen to ideas for anything that would be interesting and creative to include.
As the number of pupils involved grows LiVeS radio has ambitions to broadcast a live show during the School day.
