We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant who is qualified to NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, Access to Health Care Course or similar, to assist the registered nursing staff in providing high quality nursing care to pupils and staff within the school.  You will work closely with the Lead Nurse and School nurses to ensure effective communication between the school and Medical Centre.  Good literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications are desirable.  You will need to be a driver.

Assistant Domestic Manager / Supervisor

LVS Ascot is recruiting for an Assistant Domestic Services Manager / Supervisor to help to provide and maintain the high standards of housekeeping services within all areas of the school including residential houses and laundry.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with good team leading skills, who is trustworthy, caring and reliable. A good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations is required, however full training will be given. Uniform and lunch are provided. 

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

PA to the Director of Finance - (immediate start)

The Licensed Trade Charity was set up over 200 years ago to provide support and a safety net for people in difficulty. Throughout our history, we have been both innovative and responsive to changing needs and in seeking new opportunities to sustain our work, which to date includes founding three successful schools.

We currently have an opportunity for a talented and ambitious PA looking to make their mark in a growing and successful organisation.  Working for the Director of Finance, you will have a solid background in providing high quality secretarial and administrative support for tasks including creating presentations, organising events and conferences, and attending charity events as required.

Due to the level of support needed in this role, prior senior PA experience is essential, as are high levels of discretion and diplomacy.  An excellent working knowledge of all MS Office packages, along with first-rate organisational skills and the capability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines, is also required.  You must have great written and verbal communication skills too, and be able to liaise with a wide range of individuals on a daily basis.

This is a, extremely busy and varied role, and you must be able to use your initiative to work well both autonomously and as part of a team. Hours of work are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Part-time Day Nurse - to start September 2018

LVS Ascot is a high performing day co-educational and boarding school, with a reputation for all-round excellence. Through our stimulating curriculum and vibrant co-curricular activities, we provide our pupils with an environment where they are valued, encouraged and inspired.

We require a Registered Nurse to join a small team of nurses in the Medical Centre.  The Medical Centre provides health care for day pupils and boarders and first aid for staff.  The position is 15 hours per week and shift patterns may be included on a rotating basis.  The post holder will need to be able to offer flexibility to provide cover over some weekends and during busy periods and you will be on call from home at night.  

The individual must be able to work independently within their professional boundaries.  They must have experience in minor injuries and illnesses and be able to demonstrate safe clinical decision making.  Experience in school nursing, A&E or practice nursing would be an advantage.
