General Estates Assistant

LVS Ascot is recruiting for a General Site Assistant to provide a collection and delivery service on site for laundry.

In addition you will be required to carry out other site related duties which may include litter clearing, cleaning of site signage and bicycle shed covers, carrying out high level dusting and there may be a requirement to drive a minibus on designated routes on occasions; therefore a full clean driving licence is essential. A D1 rating would be desirable but not essential.  

The position is to work 52 weeks per year, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0800 – 1500. Uniform and lunch are provided.

We are looking for keen team players who are trustworthy, caring and reliable. Full training will be given.

Minibus Drivers (part time)

LVS Ascot is a high performing co-educational day and boarding school, with a reputation for all-round excellence.  We are currently recruiting for  Minibus Drivers who will be required to drive the school minibus on local designated routes, 20 hours a week, as requested.  A full clean driving licence with a D1 rating is essential.

Hours of work: 0645 – 0845 and 1600 – 1800 Monday – Friday, term time only. Uniform is provided.

Site Officer (Porter) 

To start as soon as possible

Our Site Officers are responsible for keeping the school operational and ensuring that all external sources for transport, event set ups, security, mail and parcel deliveries are managed in a professional, timely manner.

The successful applicant will have the ability to manage their own workload, be computer literate, organised and able to complete tasks to a high standard, and be required to be aware of and implement security standards and policy.A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a full, clean driving licence with a D1 rating is essential.

Hours of work are full time as per the Site Officers’ rota and will total 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum.  Competitive salary, uniform and lunch provided.

Part time Junior School Receptionist / Administrator

We are recruiting a part-time Junior School Receptionist/Administrator to provide an effective, efficient and welcoming reception and switchboard service. Acting as the first point of contact for parents, prospective parents and  staff while supporting the Head of the Junior School and her administration team in managing a various range of administration functions. This role requires a calm, professional and methodical approach.  The post holder must be  an effective communicator both internally and externally at all levels and have excellent customer service and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to work in a busy and demanding environment is essential. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word and have all the qualities to be the public face of the school. Applicants must have good organisation and prioritisation skills and must be able to deal with visitors and incoming telephone calls at the same time.

The role is a part time/job share, term time only + 1 week at the end of the summer term. Hours of work are12:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday. Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.

IT Technician

Are you great with IT?  Do you think you have what it takes to provide quality IT support in a dynamic environment?  If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our busy team as an IT Technician. 

The purpose of this role is to help our staff and pupils with everyday IT requirements, from apps to audio visual, offering first and second tier support across our organisation, including our schools in Ascot, Oxford and West Sussex. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a valid driving licence (pool car available).

The role is 52 weeks a year, is based in Ascot and the hours of work are 0830 – 1700 Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend emergency cover.

You should be a natural communicator, who can quickly build a rapport, whether face-to-face, by telephone or through digital communications.  All applicants will be required to perform basic testing prior to interview and will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
