Domestic Assistant (Weekends) - immediate start

LVS Ascot is recruiting a Weekend Domestic Assistant to help provide and maintain the high standard of housekeeping services within all areas of the school including residential houses.

Saturday and Sunday, hours of work 06.00 – 13.00, 14 hours per week and uniform is provided.

Network Manager

Are you great with IT?  Do you think you have what it takes to provide quality network support in a dynamic environment?  If so, we have an opportunity for you to join our busy team as a Network Manager. 

The purpose of this role is to help to maintain an effective IT infrastructure, whilst developing and implementing exciting projects throughout our organisation, including our schools in Ascot, Oxford and West Sussex. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in reviewing and control of disaster recovery procedures, monitoring network hardware apparatus, monitoring systems using SEIM systems and maintaining network security and maintenance updates across all systems.   A valid driving licence is essential as the role will involve travel between our sites (pool car available).

The role is 52 weeks a year, based in Ascot and the hours of work are 0900 – 1730 Monday to Friday.

You should be a natural communicator, who can quickly build a rapport, whether face-to-face, by telephone or through digital communications.  All applicants will be required to perform basic testing prior to interview and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Senior Theatre Technician - to start as soon as possible

We wish to appoint a creative and inspirational Senior Theatre Technician to join our thriving department. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the technical aspects of the theatre and provide support across the Performing Arts, including school productions and events. The school boasts two performance spaces, including a professionally equipped theatre with a 250 capacity.

Expertise in lighting is highly desirable, together with the ability to collaborate in the design and build of production sets.

A broad skill base in all technical theatre skills would be advantageous.

Sports Coach - to start September 2018

LVS Ascot are looking for individuals to join their thriving and exciting coaching team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a passion for coaching and teaching swimming and hold a Level 2 Coaching Certificate or above (desirable).

The role would include you taking PE lessons, leading after school club sport sessions and helping to support our students.  You will need to be able to create strong positive relationships with students, staff and parents.  In addition, you will have good time management and planning skills and be accountable for children’s learning, attainment, behaviour and progression.  The hours of work will be 34 hours per week.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant who is qualified to NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, Access to Health Care Course or similar, to assist the registered nursing staff in providing high quality nursing care to pupils and staff within the school.  You will work closely with the Lead Nurse and School nurses to ensure effective communication between the school and Medical Centre.  Good literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications are desirable.  You will need to be a driver.
