Boarding Activity Programme
One of the great benefits of boarding is being able to make use of the school's facilities in the evenings. Boarders at LVS have access to their own sports centre, library, music centre, theatre and pool - just as they would at home, except that they are on their doorstep.
An extensive programme of activities allows boarders to to explore their talents and abilities, make new friends and to try new experiences.
Off Site Activity
In addition to the school's facilities they also have trips off-site, join local cadet forces and make use of our external club links such as the Thames Valley Athletics Club.
Student Choice
All members of the boarding community choose at least two activities during the week but very many will choose three or four. Activities change termly and are run by both school staff and a whole range of outside instructors.
The pupil representatives of the boarding houses make suggestions as to the activities they would like to see offered and many tum out to be highly successful.
