Co-Curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities play an important and stimulating role in the life of the Junior School and add a tremendous amount to the children’s all round education; to this end a variety of clubs and after school activities are available to the pupils from Years 3 – 6.

The children are encouraged to belong to a wide variety of clubs including choir, aerobics, orchestra, board games, netball, swimming, lego, Tai Chi, card games and pet club.  Clubs are changed on a termly basis to give children and staff the opportunity to take part in a wide range of different activities offered over the course of the academic year.

The children will be informed of the activities on offer at the start of each term and they are then required to approach the teacher taking that club in order to enrol.

Each term a wide ranging co-curricular programme is organised.

The Junior School also believes in the value of competitive sport and a fixture list appropriate to the term and the time of year ensure that a wide variety of youngsters in Year 5 and 6 can represent their school in competitive sport.

Regular fixtures are organised with local schools.
