A 'murder' is announced

Sixth Form students dash to the library ‘crime scene’

Students turned detective this week when a ‘body’ was discovered in the LRC on Monday.

Policemen from the LVS Sixth Form dashed to the scene and found pupils gathered round the unfortunate victim, clutching clues.

The grisly event was hosted by staff from the LRC to encourage younger students to get the most out of their library.

Clues are being released throughout the week, and pupils have two weeks to solve the mystery.

LRC Manager Mrs Bastone said: “This was a great way to start the term and encourage more pupils into the library.  Pupils of all ages have been busy using their library skills to solve the murder!  It has been lots of fun for pupils and staff alike.”
