Oxbridge success for Sixth Form students

We are delighted to celebrate that Thorne Ryan and Cameron Griffiths have both been offered places at Oxford University for September 2010.

Thorne, who was in Gilbey House and was one of our Deputy Heads of School last year, has been accepted by St Hugh’s College to read German and Arabic. She has been spending her Gap Year as a member of the LVS staff team where she has been playing a key role within the Junior School and Boarding House.

Cameron is one of our current Deputy Heads of School and is a student in Whitbread House. He has been accepted by Oriel College to read Medicine.

Our congratulations go to both of them and we now look forward to celebrating the placement of all our other Upper Sixth students into universities all over Britain.
