This week is Book Week with the LVS 'Reading Olympics'
This week is World Book Week and LVS is throwing itself into the literary fun with a host of events throughout the week. Highlights to include:
The 'Reading Olympics' Pentathlon launches on Monday 1st March, with challenges throughout the week.
Monday also sees Mark Robson, ex RAF pilot and fantasy-adventure author visit LVS to talk to Years 7 and 8.
On Wednesday, poet Andrew Fusek Peters will arrive to run a writing workshop with Year 12. Plus students get the chance to join in the 'design a book cover' competition.
Thursday will see staff dress up as literary characters - the sillier the better!
On Friday, we hold the LVS Literary Challenge, followed by a Great Air Race with paper planes.
We hope everyone will get involved and enjoy the fun!
