Senior School Making Music In The Street

Forget dancing in the street - it was all about music in the Street this Easter at LVS.

Senior School students took to the floor this week to perform rock music for the lunchtime traffic through the Street.

Monday's session began with Tim A, Year 10, on vocals and acoustic guitar, producing a beautifully stripped-down rendition of Coldplay. He was followed by Zoe C, Year 7, who sang a haunting version of the Police's Fields of Gold - with vocal support from her Year 7 fans.

Tuesday drew even bigger crowds as Ben H, Sam B and Sam H, all Year 11, brought their band to the stage. Sam B and Sam H took care of bass and guitar respectively, while Ben was a hit (no pun intended) on the drums.

Well done to all the musicians - we look forward to a repeat performance in terms to come.
