Year 5 Experience Tudor Life At Hooke Court

Glorious weather and a Tudor banquet topped off an excellent weekend at Hooke Court for Year 5 on 5th - 7th March.

Pupils and teachers travelled down to the Dorset manor on Friday, stopping off at Charmouth Beach to collect fossils on the way. They experienced Tudor life with traditional games, brass rubbing, boat making and candle making – and enjoyed a murder mystery night too!

Deputy Head and Year 5 class teacher Mrs Rawlinson said: “The weekend was perfect. The children were so enthusiastic and we learned lots about Tudor life.”
