LVS Ascot sport stars shine at ISA Athletics

LVS Ascot won an outstanding 21 medals at the ISA (Independent Schools Association) Regional Athletics competition held at the Thames Valley Athletics Stadium, Eton, on Friday 11 June.

Dom Pike, Teacher in charge of Athletics, travelled with the students to support them in their events.

Mr Pike said: “Boys and girls from the school competed in a range of events across different age groups.  We amassed a good haul of medals and have 7 pupils who have qualified through to the National Finals in Bedford”.

Travelling to Bedford for the National Finals on Wednesday 23 June are:

-          Chris P (8), Year 4 cricket ball throw

-          Jordyn S (10), Year 5 rounders ball throw

-          Wesley R (12). Year 7 shot put

-          Ben P (15) Year 10 & 11 200m and long jump

-          Mitchell F (15), Year 10 & 11 high jump

-          Rory K (15), Year 10 & 11 triple jump

-          Rose W (15), Year 10 & 11 triple jump
