Year 2 brought their science and geography work alive on 24th June, with a visit to the Living Rainforest exhibition near Newbury.

The class have been studying rainforests this term and the trip was the culmination of all their hard work, giving the students a chance to experience the real sights, sounds and smells of a rainforest environment.

Class teacher Mrs Earl said: "Everyone had a great day, and behaved superbly.

"It was a very hot day, and extremely hot and humid in the big greenhouses.

"The guide asked the class lots of questions throughout the tour, giving them a chance to show off all they had learned this term!"
