After LVS
Every year when we say goodbye to our Upper Sixth pupils we know they are well prepared for life beyond school. The qualifications, skills and experiences that they have gained during their time with us allow them to enter the next phase of their lives with confidence.
The majority of our Sixth Form will go straight to University. An increasing number take a gap year, and some decide that work based training will suit them better.
In the last two years students have gone on to study a variety of courses at a range of institutions.
The Next Steps Programme
Young people today have many choices as to what to do after school: take a gap year, go to university, or move straight into a career? We do a great deal to help our students calmly navigate what can be a difficult crossroads.
We offer careers advice alongside the academic advice we give about A-level choices and university course selection.
The Next Steps Programme is a range of events and opportunities for students to help them make choices about what they want to do when they leave LVS.
