Leadership Opportunities

Our commitment to initiative and action means we allow students in specific positions of responsibility to help mould their own job descriptions around the basic expectations we would have of them given their own particular strengths. This could be at a whole school level as Head Boy, Head Girl, or Head of Boarding, at a House level as one of the Heads of House or at a peer level as an elected committee representative.

Other opportunities may be as Sixth Form Common Room Chairman or Treasurer, Listening Support Prefect,  Drama Captain,  Photographic Journalist Team Leader, Expedition Team Leaders, Social Events Organiser, Charity Events Organiser, Sports Team Coach and many more.

Whilst we endeavour to offer as many chances as possible for students to take up positions of genuine responsibility we also recognise that students are capable of creating opportunities for themselves. LVS is wholly supportive of such initiatives.

In many ways a genuine leader does not need to be given a role to fulfil, they simply create one where they feel it is needed.
