A spectacular day of cricket took place at LVS Ascot last week as the school welcomed the MCC for its annual match. Despite the grey skies, not a drop of rain fell, allowing the match to take place under ideal playing conditions. The event was a celebration of sporting spirit, community, and tradition.
Taking place on LVS Ascot’s stunning 26-acre parkland campus, the match brought together a brilliant team of current and former pupils, alongside staff members, who proudly represented the school. While we didn’t secure victory, the LVS Ascot team gave the MCC a very competitive game.
The occasion was more than just a match as it demonstrated LVS Ascot’s strong sporting culture and commitment to bringing its community together through memorable experiences.
Reflecting on the event, one could only describe it as a smashing success. The MCC Cricket Game once again proved to be a highlight of the school calendar and a cherished tradition for all involved.
