Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

As an-all ability school, we do not conduct a formal entrance examination.

We request reports from previous schools in the Autumn Term prior to entry. Pupils will also be interviewed by senior members of staff.

Please refer to our Admissions Policy before starting the registration process of which the fee is non -refundable. Although an all-ability school, applicants should be guided towards specific paragraphs regarding learning needs and level of support the school can offer. We can consider all applicants including those with mild learning difficulties.

Provisional Registration

A pupil is firmly entered on to our entry list upon acceptance of an offer of a place and payment of a deposit. We offer a cooling-off period which allows you to cancel the contract within 14 calendar days of signing the acceptance form.

The deposit will only be refunded if the pupil is withdrawn on medical grounds or at the end of his/her Infant & Junior School studies (Year 6), Senior School (Year 11), or Sixth Form (Year 13).

Full details and Terms and Conditions can be read in the Financial Agreement Acceptance Form, which will be included with our offer letter.

Firm Registration

We accept applications for all school years, from Reception to Sixth Form, providing that space is available.

Boarding places are available from 8 years plus.

A child’s name is entered on the provisional entry list for a given year upon receipt of a completed online application form and payment of a non-returnable registration fee of £100 (or £150 for an international applicant).

Firm offers are usually made at the end of the Autumn Term preceding the year of entry.
