LVS Ascot A-levels

Life after LVS Ascot

Every year when we say goodbye to our Year 13 students, we know they are well prepared for life beyond school.

The majority of our Sixth Form students will go straight to university, whilst others take a gap year.

The interest in apprenticeships is growing rapidly, particularly in areas such as accounting and engineering, media, finance and law.

Wherever students want to go we can support you with an incredibly experienced Sixth Form team who will be able to advise, guide and answer any questions that you may have.

University applications start in March of Year 12 with a day at a UCAS fair where all of the leading universities and many specialist colleges will talk to students and give them an idea of what is available. There are also plenty of organisations offering apprenticeships.

UCAS

The UCAS process starts after the May exams when tutors guide students through the form and help them complete their personal statement. This leaves the Summer and the start of the Autumn term to research courses and institutions. With years of experience, LVS Ascot has a team that can support every application in any field.
Students who will be applying to Oxbridge or medical courses will be able to join a specialist group in March of Year 12 that offers support in the various interviews and tests that these applications require.

Oxbridge & Medical Students

In March of Year 12, students who will be applying to Oxbridge or medical courses will be able to join a specialist in-school support group that offers guidance in the various interviews and tests that these applications require.
