Five students from LVS Ascot have worked with staff to create a beautiful ceramic flower installation for Frimley Park Hospital. The display now decorates the hospital’s sculpture garden, providing a space for staff, patients, and visitors to enjoy.
The idea came to life after reaching out to Frimley Park’s Creative Arts Manager, and it quickly grew into a collaborative project for the school’s Clay Club. Under the guidance of one of our Art teachers, Hannah, students developed their creative skills and worked together to design and build the flowers. Hannah’s time, dedication, and expertise were crucial to making the installation a reality.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to share their creativity in a meaningful, real-world setting,” said Niamh, one of our art teachers, who is sadly leaving us. “It’s a proud moment for all of us, and a beautiful way to mark the end of my time at LVS Ascot.”
The installation is a testament to the students’ hard work, teamwork, and passion for the arts, and will continue to brighten the hospital space for all who visit.
