LVS Ascot is an independent co-educational day and boarding school inspiring students from four to nineteen to exceed their expectations.
Our campus is in Berkshire, UK, and set in 26 acres of parkland. We are easily located and within easy reach of London, major motorways and Heathrow Airport.
Everything is located on one beautiful campus in Ascot. We have fantastic on-site academic and sporting facilities, boarding houses, our own LVS bus transport routes across the region and comprehensive before and after-school care options for busy parents.

LVS Ascot Aviation Scholarships
This scholarship programme aims to provide selected students with a pathway towards a Private Pilot Licence (PPL). This includes developing advanced skills in aviation, technical training, and real-world learning.
Scholarship Value per Student: £15,000 (over 3 years)
Note: This does not cover school or boarding fees (click here for school fees)
Includes:
Up to 70 hours of flying at £180/hr
Ground school and theory instruction
Examination fees
Basic equipment and resources
Programme Duration: 3 years
Entry Points: Year 9, Year 10, Year 11
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Applicants must:
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in aviation, engineering, or related STEM areas
- Show evidence of motivation, commitment, and the ability to manage long-term responsibilities
- Be reliable, organised, and prepared to work independently outside of normal lessons
- Have a good behavioural and attendance record
- Submit a written application outlining their interest and aspirations
- Provide references from current teaching staff
- Attend a short interview with the Director of Futures or appointed panel
Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and reviewed annually to ensure continued engagement and progress.

Self-Funded Pathway
Students not awarded a scholarship may still join the aviation programme on a self-funded basis. In this case:
- Parents will cover the cost of flying hours and related fees
- Theory lessons will be delivered as group sessions on site and invoiced accordingly
