LVS Ascot Football Scholarships
This scholarship programme aims to provide selected students with a pathway towards a career in football.
Prospective scholars should be representing their current school. Playing club football and, in addition, being part of a representative team, (academy, district, county) in football would be highly advantageous.
Entry Points: Year 7, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11, Year 12
However,
Pupils currently in Years 9 and Year 10 can enter the scholarship early in Jan 2026 (deadline for application is 26th Sept 2025)

We have two entry points coming up:
Year 7,9,10,11,12 entry in Sept 2026 (deadline for application is 26th Sept 2025)

Please note: A CV and any other supporting documents must be submitted to our admissions team by 26th September 2025 at the latest. This must include previous teams and preferred position.
The Football Assessment for this year’s entry will be during week commencing 6th October 2025.
The following information applies to UK-based applications or those able to attend an in-person trial at LVS Ascot. International applicants will be required to submit a sporting CV, video highlights of their performances, and take part in an online interview.

About Assessment Days
Format of the Assessment Day
- Pupils will trial in their respective age groups with skill based and game based practice.
- The day will include a lunch and interview, as per our standard process
- Boys and girls will trial simultaneously
- A tour of the school
This year’s Schedule:
- Monday 6th October 2025: For Year 7 in September 2026
- Tuesday 7th October 2025: For Year 9 in September 2026
- Wednesday 8th October 2025: For Year 10 in September 2026 (and current Year 9 pupils wanting to start Jan 2026)
- Thursday 9th October 2025: For Year 11 in September 2026 (and current Year 10 pupils wanting to start Jan 2026)
- Friday 10th October 2025: For Year 12 in September 2026. LVS Ascot is starting a full-time football programme in September 2026 (more information to follow)
What will I need on the Assessment Day?
- Appropriate sports clothing, including boots, trainers (for astroturfs) and shin pads.
- Water bottle
- Applicants should be prepared to talk in detail about their current achievements in football, including representative honours and their objectives for the future.
