Sport Year 7 Scholarship Criteria and Process
Should I apply?
- Prospective scholars should be representing their current school in at least two to three different sports. In addition, being part of a representative team, (academy, district, county, regional, and national) in one of these sports would be highly advantageous
- Applications should include a written CV of their sporting life to date and references from their current team or individual coaches prior to the interview date.
What will the Assessment Day involve?
-Participation in a variety of sports (football, rugby, hockey, netball, cricket and swimming)
-An interview with our Sports Prefects/Directors of Sport
-A tour of the school
-Lunch is included

What will I need on the Assessment Day?
-Appropriate sports clothing, including boots, trainers (for astroturfs), mouthguards and shin pads and swimwear (including swimming hat).
-Water bottle
-Applicants should be prepared to talk in detail about their current sporting achievements, including representative honours and their sporting objectives for the future.
– Applicants may also like to bring relevant evidence of their past achievements (e.g. a significant trophy and/or a certificate) to the interview.
