Malishka- Sixth Form Day Student

Malishka
Malishka joined LVS Ascot as an external student in Year 12 and quickly settled into the warm and welcoming environment of the Sixth Form. Malishka particularly enjoyed the sense of community, where teachers are supportive and approachable and fellow students are motivated to bring out the best in one another. For her, the school’s diversity is a real strength.
Reflecting on her time at LVS Ascot, Malishka describes it as “homely,” praising how down-to-earth everyone is and how inspiring it feels to be surrounded by ambitious, driven peers. She believes this environment has pushed her to aim higher and has helped her grow both academically and personally.
“I have loved meeting people from different backgrounds and forming new friendships that have enriched my experience”
Her favourite things about LVS Ascot are the people, from teachers who are always willing to go the extra mile, to friends who share the same aspirations and encourage each other. What makes LVS Ascot stand out, she says, is the way it combines strong academics with a genuine sense of belonging and support.
Malishka won LVS Ascot’s Mulroy Prize for Achievement in her final year.
“In the supportive atmosphere, pupils are polite and thoughtful and apply themselves purposefully to their studies.”
