Alumni
LVS Ascot’s alumni programme allows former students to stay in touch with each other and remain part of the school community after they leave.
Former LVS Ascot students include:
Simon Cowell
William Brake (founder of Brake Bros):
Tracey Ullman
Holly Tucker (founder of Not On The High Street).
Alumni are a key component in helping our students with advice and opportunities.

International Relationships
LVS Ascot is a Round Square School.
Round Square is an internationally diverse network of 245 like-minded schools in 50 countries on six continents that connect and collaborate to offer world-class programmes and experiences, developing global competence, character and confidence in our students.
Through the Round Square Community, schools bring their students face-to-face with their peers from across the world to exchange ideas, learn about each other’s countries and cultures, and to discuss and debate some of the most difficult, and sensitive, issues facing our world today.
Whether in-person, at Round Square Conferences, via Student Exchange, or on RS Service Projects, or online, through Classroom Collaborations, Zoom Postcards or Language Labs, the aim is always to build students’ International Understanding.

Careers Guidance and Work Experience
Expert advice and practical help delivered by our careers guidance specialist.
Working towards our shared goal of giving LVS Ascot students an advantage, the LVS Ascot Careers Advantage programme provides guidance, advice, support and helps to build resilience for students when they take their next steps.
Whether those steps are into university, apprenticeships or straight into work and a career.

Student Groups and Activities
LVS Ascot encourages and fosters interaction between students beyond classroom groups.
We have a wide ranging programme of co-curricular activities that allow all year-groups to help each other, understand our differences, appreciate the value of teamwork and make new friends.
This includes performing arts, sports, clubs, trips and house activities.

LVS Ascot PTFA
The LVS Ascot PTFA (a registered charity) creates a community for parents, teachers and any others associated with children attending LVS Ascot to come together and get to know each other as part of the school community.
The PTFA also raises money for the school through events, social gatherings and initiatives. These funds provide extra opportunities for children to have additional experiences as part of their school journey.
Fundraising also allows parents to get to know each other and socialise together within the context of school.

World of Work Inspiration
The LVS Ascot WoW Group members have built successful careers or they own their own businesses.
They work in a range of industries and they have learned how to navigate a career path that can often be less than straightforward. They know how to stand out in a competitive job market, and what they are looking for when they interview candidates themselves.
Those who run their own businesses share their experience of getting started. They also know the highs and lows, and advantages or disadvantages, of working for yourself.
All WoW members are willing to highlight opportunities within their organisations, and pass their knowledge on to our LVS Ascot pupils.
The WoW Group is open to any LVS Ascot parents with business experience, who want to contribute to the school and network with other LVS Ascot parents in business. They help us bridge the gap between education and careers to inspire and support our children into the World of Work.

Perspectives - The World of Education
LVS Perspectives is a topical discussion series that was introduced to LVS Ascot during COVID-19 to allow Christine Cunniffe, Principal, to stay connected with our pupils virtually.
Since then, the series has continued to allow us to host important conversations with people who have a stake in education. These range from parents and teachers, to other educational professionals or experts who are interested in the future of education and the well-being of this generation of pupils.
All LVS Perspectives discussions can be joined via Facebook Live and are typically hosted most Fridays. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to stay up to date with the latest discussions and when they will be hosted.
See below to check out all of our previous, recorded LVS Perspectives discussions. These are uploaded to the LVS Ascot YouTube page regularly.
