Senior School

LVS Senior School is for boys and girls from 11 - 18. Years 7 - 11 have just over 100 pupils each and each department teaches the whole year group at a time, divided into 6 or 7 small teaching groups. Pupils are placed in these groups according to their individual needs but all follow the same curriculum generally leading to GCSEs in Year 11 although early entries are frequent.

The 180 students in the Sixth Form are taught in even smaller groups following A Level courses.
 
Tutor groups within a House are the corner stones of our  Pastoral Care and each pupil has a tutor who oversees their academic and personal development.

An extensive co-curricular programme of visits, sports, music, drama and a diverse range of clubs, societies and activities forms an essential part of the LVS experience for both day and boarding pupils.
