Performing Arts
We offer music, drama and dance. Our students are encouraged to take part in school productions and we have a place for everyone, from performing to production, lighting to sound.
As well as our permanent Performing Arts teachers and staff, we also have specialist external drama and music teachers available for paid extra-curricular lessons, on-site, for all students.
Sport
We are an extremely inclusive school, and we like to see as many pupils as possible taking part in practices and fixtures.
We offer a wide range of other sports for them to enjoy. We have an indoor swimming pool, a new fitness centre, a full-size all-weather pitch and a sports hall.
Trips and Visits
Our students have some amazing opportunities for trips and visits outside of the school.
We are a Round Square School, which means we are part of a network of schools around the world that take part in exchanges and international experiences.
We also have a many expert visitors coming to the school to talk to our students on subjects as varied as finance and acting.
Duke of Edinburgh Awards
We offer three Duke of Edinburgh Awards to our students in Years 9-13. This provides opportunities for new learning skills, volunteering and sports with expeditions offered at every level.
All our Year 9 students start doing the Bronze Award, whilst we offer Silver to Years 10 and 11 and Gold to Sixth Formers.
Infant and Junior School
Our younger students also have plenty of age-specific activities and outings.
We like to keep the programme varied, and it can include activities as diverse as fencing, yoga and gardening.
Clubs
Below is a list of examples of clubs that we run. These are subject to change term by term – we introduce new clubs on a regular basis. The majority of our clubs are run by LVS Ascot staff so there is no additional cost. Any clubs run by external guests will require a small fee.
